To Bless, From Sadness to Gladness, A Low Profile

To Bless
Never allow this day to go by without seeking to bless somebody. Get out of your selfish mood by determining to speak or do something that will benefit another person, family, friend or stranger. The Good Samaritan did not spare himself or his goods in seeking to help a person he did not know and made history. You are still around to make an earnest, honest and humble contribution to someone else’s need and so leave a testimony to the power of goodness. Not only will you do good you will begin to feel good inside because you were an answer to someone’s prayer and need. Actually, you are sowing that which in turn will become a harvest in your own experience! There is a reaping as well as a sowing!

FROM SADNESS TO GLADNESS
When the LORD turns up and begins to really, dynamically fellowship with you He has the capacity of changing your spirit and you. You may be at a very low point, not very happy and pleased at things, as were two men on the Emmaus road. Everything had been shattered and scattered and they were in a deep pondering state of mind and in gloom. But Christ appeared and held conversation with them and what a difference He made! Suddenly everything was transformed and so were they! He comes to make a difference to you and your day. Today, be glad because He is with you to fill with delight and great hopes and prospects. Instead of wallowing in doubt and self-pity, rejoice the next hours are to be filled with His presence and heavenly conversations.

A LOW PROFILE
Because of what you have passed through in life it has left you with a low profile of yourself and also as to your capabilities and calling. This is something you must attend to and take action about. Know that you have been created by God, for God, and that He has a noble and worthwhile destiny for you to fulfil. He has also endowed you with graces and gifts in Jesus Christ whereby you can rise to achieve this noble and rewarding vocation. Do not limit Him or yourself because in and through Him it is possible for you to succeed in a spiritual and supernatural manner so that your life is meaningful, masterful and fulfilled in significant ways. So do not under-estimate your LORD or yourself but move on into good and great things.

Disappointments
Disappointments are life’s lot and experience at times. At some time or other, something will negatively occur which will seek to take the wind out of your sails. You sense you are making good progress when you are suddenly confronted with issues that would hinder and frustrate further movement forward. Handling disappointment is a vital factor of life. To overcome this evil and hurdle is essential. The wise person immediately looks to the Lord to see what He has to say and do. He has ways and means of being able to inspire and encourage when the chips are down. Through His presence and inspired promises He encourages believing that what is occurring is but temporary. They are all part of training to trust and hope when things at their worst because they can be miraculously changed. So if you are in this kind of situation, look to Him because His encouragements are greater than any discouragements!

Keep on praising
Praise is a great exercise of the soul that is purposed to be very rewarding. It is both good and right to keep up a consistency of thanksgiving and joy concerning the LORD. David believed in and engaged in it to a tremendous amount throughout the whole of his life. His attitude and bent is found in this exclamation: “I will bless the LORD at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth” – Psalm34:1. He was glad and grateful for all that the LORD had done and was doing for him he was inspired and impelled to wholly praise Him with heart and lips. There was nobody like Him deserving such spiritual treatment. The knock-on effect was that it did him a power of good. It kept him free from doubt and depression and cast up ma highway for the LORD to work for him in greater ways. So have a great day praising the LORD and let us know the consequences!!

As the days you are living are considered to be dark, without a great deal of light shining, remember this, He who is the Eternal Light of the World has lit you up so that you might shine brightly amidst the darkness. In giving Him prominence and pre-eminence, and allowing both His Word and Spirit access and administration, you will be adequately equipped and empowered to influence the gloom and dimness all around. Others will note the difference and will inquire and desire to know seeing that you do not exist as others in the shadows and obscurity. The switch from darkness to light will take place in them because of your spiritual radiance and luminosity. In keeping in communion with your LORD you will begin to shine more and more and have greater impact on the society of mankind.

Quietness
A great deal is to be known and learned when life is stilled and brought to a great calm. The assurance from God’s Word is this: “Be still and know that I am God”- Psalm 46: 10. It would seem that one cannot really get to know Him, His presence or word, unless the mind and heart has come to a state of tranquility. He just exists and acts from this eternal condition of stillness, where no-one and nothing agitates or disturbs His infinite equilibrium. His plan is to bring you there so that you rule your in life in a peaceful, profitable and pleasurable manner. You can be in charge and control, where you can handle all that comes across your path today with ease and effectiveness.

At hand to lend a hand
The promise holds good for you today from the LORD: “and as your days, so shall your strength be” – Deut 33: 25. What an assurance to be known in the outworking of your daily life! He who sustains the whole universe gives the guarantee that He will supply the life and energy to carry out your day by day existence. He who is the source and resource of all power is the One who will be there at the beginning of each fresh day to make sure you will have what is necessary to accomplish the duties and demands to be encountered. What is essential if for you to know a dynamic accord with and so know His extraordinary input and infusion? So there is nothing you cannot do under His supervision and direction because He is always at hand to lend a hand. How well he does it!

Come out on top
Although you may grow tired and weary in the work of the LORD, never grow tired and weary of it. Being involved with Christ in life and ministry within His kingdom does make great demands at times and can have a drainage impact. Do not simply yield to the pressures required that require your energies and commitment but spend needful time with your LORD. He can out of His infinite resources bring not only refreshment but charge your batteries with His life so that you can more than cope. Remember what Paul uttered: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – Philippians 4: 13. The LORD is ever at hand to make certain that you will have all that is essential to do a great job with pleasure and come out on top.

Welcome the challenges
There are occasions when you falter, stumble and stutter. Do not regard these as permanent features and factors. Draw fresh inspiration from the LORD, from the Holy Spirit and the rich God’s legacy of God’s promises and you will leave those temporary set-backs behind and move ahead with new strength, strategy and success. Never allow things of failure to thwart and stop you going ahead into all that the LORD has planned for you. Your future life and service is as great as the God you love and serve and He will be behind backing and blessing you every day and all the way. Welcome the challenges and even temporary hiccups because they are paving the road ahead in terms and tokens of programme and exaltation.

Stick with it
This may not be an easy thing for you to do at this moment as you face the things that seemingly are working contrary and in conflict. Remember that faith and patience are two wonderful qualities that are developed in these awkward conditions. They are just as vital as that which you are engaged in. As you persist and persevere in good mind and heart, you will succeed and be so pleased that at the same time you were able to retain your cool and calm. Not only what you are engaged will be complete and a credit, so will you, too. Your work and you will be a masterpiece; yes the MASTER’S PIECE and He will be glorified in and through it all.

Be different and to make a difference
You are to be different and to make a difference each day that you live. The consequence of such can bring a world of difference to someone else who is alongside you observing your love, faith and obedience in and to Christ. Because of the input of the spiritual and supernatural from heaven as you wait on Him and receive of His grace, gifts and goodness, you have much to impart and pass on that will enrich many around. Look in faith for those choice, golden opportunities where you can share and give out of the wealth of your Christian experience. Do not let today go by without letting others know the difference Christ can make in their life and affairs.
